Walking along our local beach Laingholm recently I had one of those encounters with a neighbor you know, but don't really know. I think every community has one, as you introduce yourself  they set off ranting & raving about how this place wasn’t like this back in my day.

Conversation starts, "you know what this community needs?" Before you can answer he barks "a natural disaster that will bring them out of their houses & mixing with community like the old days"

Not to rant & rave, it wasn't a disaster but when you live in a rain forest it rains. The neighbor was right, we experienced a  flash flood over the weekend, it was like a street meet & greet as we all mucked in.
