Glenn and his Pureoutdoors team clearly understood our objectives and listened to our feedback to create a fun event that was well-suited to the mix of people within our group. Glenn was a great facilitator who struck a good balance between encouraging competitiveness and enjoyment whilst also reinforcing the purpose of the day's activities. For the 2nd year running we again chose to work with Glenn and his team at Pureoutdoors for the team building element for our Fast Food retailer conference in Rotorua. Although there were alternate activity suppliers within the Rotorua region to choose from Glenn's creative solution embraced our client's Key objectives and his commitment to make several site visits to the area enabled him to design the bespoke event which was managed flawlessly. We had a really great team building afternoon with Pure Outdoors. The warm-up exercises were just as enjoyable/valuable as the main events. Well organised and facilitated by Glenn and Leanne. Catapult to Success
Good Leadership activity. Was really good to acknowledge and appreciate and listen to other people's perspectives - a great activity. Taught me to trust others and use their strengths to reach a common goal. Love the catapults - good message. Cool teambuilding practical learning for those of us who respond better that way. Great teambuilding and finale excellent for communication. Great to work in a team and produce a result in a team in a set amount of time. Glenn got us actually working in teams! "As the event organiser for my company, I had to find something that I thought would suit people of different ages and fitness levels. My first impression of the 'Pure Heights' event with Pureoutdoors was that it would fit the bill, and it did. When I advised the team that we would be doing the this event I had a lot of very apprehensive people and more than half of them said that they didn't think they would be able to do the activities as they were really scared of heights, so as you can imagine I was quite anxious about the day being a successful one. But it was really successful and fun day! Everyone had a great time, challenged themselves, tried things that were way out of their comfort zones and ended up being not only proud of themselves but also their team mates.
