Our experienced and engaging facilitators will use this event as a means to guide your team through concepts and solutions they will be able to apply immediately in the workplace.

PURE-ADVENTURE
Are you looking for an Adventurous Team Challenge? An event that is active, innovative and highly memorable.
Our PURE-ADVENTURE Challenges are geared towards teams searching for top performance results. This unique event is designed to recreate themes which can present challenges in the workplace; problem solving, creative thinking, communication, team interaction, trust and building confidence - all in an inspirational outdoor setting.
Teams will receive expert instruction on navigation techniques, topographical maps marked with checkpoints and mystery adventure challenges. Not like any race, this takes planning, strategy and team buy-in. With more check points than can realistically be obtained and variable points on offer for each check point, teams must work together to determine the best route for them.
PURE-ADVENTURE Challenges are a mixture of physical and non-physical activities designed to encourage an increased sense of trust in one another as well as a heightened sense of confidence in themselves.
Physical challenges may include;
Abseiling> River Rope Traverse> Raft Building> Archery> Mountain Biking> Kayaking>Coastaleering
Non-physical challenges may include:

GEO-TEAMING
Technology>Navigation>Adventure>Strategy>Team Work and a mission
Pureoutdoors Geo-Teaming is a unique team adventure based on the sport of geo-caching that blends the latest technology and map reading with a race against the clock. This ultimate scavenger hunt can be in a rural or urban setting and secret caches are hidden in parks or peculiar city spots.
Test your team's ability to think on-the-fly, act strategically and problem solve, all while navigating unfamiliar territory. Teams of 4-5 are given maps and taught to use GPS units to determine the approximate location of a secret cache. Then the search begins. It takes deductive reasoning to determine exactly where the cache may be. Once found, the team must crack the code to unlock the cache and receive the next mission. The adventure concludes with our Geo-Teaming Prize giving where teams will receive trophies.

Take your Team to Great Heights
Using harnesses, helmets, cables, ropes and wooden beams strung 8 to 12 meters high.
PURE- HEIGHTS offers opportunities for your team to step out of their comfort zones, explore risk-taking, trust (in themselves, teammates, equipment and our facilitators) and coaching. Each moment is rich with discoveries, whether climbing, simply encouraging others or on "belay".
Participants appreciate the opportunity to interact with their teammates in a very different and powerful way. Our facilitators establish the context for each activity, monitor participants' safety and help the team recognise valuable insights throughout the day.
Options:
CHALLENGE COURSE CHALLENGE: Teams compete over a range of challenges at height to score points and conquer in the PURE- HEIGHTS 'Fear Factor' arena. Various strategies can score them MORE points, but, other strategies may LOSE them points - how much fear can you handle...
MISSION POSSIBLE: Teams may choose to accept their Mission to collect clues from various secret "Air" and "Land" locations. If they are successful in this Mission they attempt to crack the message which will save their team from imminent self destruction... Of course it is not as simple as that! Teams may also choose to operate collaboratively or in opposition, AND, any Mission costs money, spend it wisely...
CUTOMISED PROGRAMME: Let the experienced team at Pureoutdoors design a customised programme to meet you desired learning outcomes. From bonding, building to development we have the experience to bring out the best in every team.

Wilderness Retreats

Experience the Whanganui River ( 3-5 days)

Other options include 1 - 5 day tramps within the World Heritage area that is Tongariro National Park. Come and see what makes this part of New Zealand world recognised, while sharing the experience with colleagues.
