Your team may need a simple Team Bonding experience, an opportunity to get to know each other outside the office, a way to introduce a new team to each other, or a celebration of success. These events combine lots of fun with thought provoking team challenges.
Your team may have specific workplace issues to address, our experiential Team Building programs may be the solution you've been searching for. Our experienced and engaging facilitators will use this event as a means to guide your team through concepts and solutions they will be able to apply immediately in the workplace.

Our professional development facilitators have a variety of tools and programs at hand to guide your team to higher levels of understanding.
The Rat Race, urban adventure

You have all seen the Amazing Race, "The Rat Race, urban adventure" is an outstanding event combining fun and teamwork with a race against the clock. We have taken this classic Team Race and designed it so you get the best out of your Team.
The action starts with The Big Cheese firing up teams with a Rat Race energizer. Teams will then receive their Rat Race Packs which contain all the vital supplies.
- A wad of cash (for transport)
- Digital Cameras to collect scavenger hunt photos
- Cryptic clues to compulsory challenge checkpoints
- And a time limit.....
From there teams will need to use a wide range of skills to strategise, plan and execute their winning formula as they race around the city to compete their mission. Time management is critical, teams must solve the cryptic clues and arrive at the Compulsory Challenge Checkpoints - (CCC's) on time or they will receive time penalties.
CCC's are designed around your desired outcomes; we have a huge repertoire of Challenges to bring out the best in your team combining a mixture of physical, mental and a truly out there attitude.
We can arrange a superb venue to finish at or your own office or conference venue. As Teams enjoy refreshments and catch up with other racers, our crew will tally the points and prepare the highlight, prize giving presentations complete with personalized trophies. All will be revealed on the big screen as we present the hilarious photos and discover the secret to the teams' success.

If I ran the Zoo

With today's hectic workplace, doesn't it sometimes seem like a zoo? Well, let's celebrate it, and re-energise our people in the process. All work and no play lay the foundation of lackluster performance. Have you noticed any energy loss or morale problems lately in your group, department, or organisation? It happens. And what about recognizing all that talent that surrounds you every day?
Introducing the most innovative, morale-boosting, attitude-shifting, talent-endorsing, and downright fun workshop you've ever seen. Team members learn how to thrive, have a real sense of value, and perform at peak levels while enjoying one of their greatest days ever. If I Ran the Zoo was designed to give back something way beyond the paycheck, yet inspire personal change.
Overview: Based at the Auckland Zoo, participants will experience a real feel for the environment and learn to understand how they can improve their working habitat and create a real empowering environment.
Teams of approximately 10 will take on the challenge of discovering what really makes the Zoo tick, they will be challenged by a series of sophisticated problem-solving activities, search for missing animals, create new environments, which will test their ability to communicate effectively, delegate and think outside the square. On completion of each activity our facilitators will help the team identify and understand what just happened and what that may mean to the team.
Basic Details: Initiative and problem solving activities are worked into a scenario/theme based on the Dr Seuss book, If I run the Zoo. These are challenging and fun and are achievable by all teams-they are not tests of endurance or strength. This event caters to people of all different abilities, shapes and sizes and enables each person to utilise their special skills and talents to achieve the goals successfully.
Sample of Activities: The Great Elephant Scrub: Your team will be tested as they overcome the problems of just how do you design a hands free cleaning devise. Promotes: communication, inclusion, planning.
- If I Could Talk to the Animals Teams work out how best to talk to the animals and understand their environment. Promotes; communication, environmental awareness, planning, action.
- Building the Habitat Design the perfect environment from recycled materials Promotes: recycling, sustainable living, habitat awareness, planning, communication, leadership.
- The Zoo-Doo Sculptor: Creative thinking is required as your team designs a Zoo-Doo sculptor to reflect our team values. Promotes communication, values, recycling, creative thinking.

The recipe to your success, take a dash of 'Survivor', add a pinch of 'Amazing Race' and top it off with a layer of 'Myth Busters' and you have 100% Team- Challenge.
100% Team- Challenge is an interactive, exciting event designed to challenge, motivate and energise your team. We blend a mixture of physical and non-physical team initiatives that are tailored to meet your team's physical abilities. These are challenging and fun, but need not be a test of human endurance. The activities are certainly exciting outdoors. However, they can easily be shifted indoors in the case of inclement weather.

Pure-Heights "Take your Team to Great Heights"
Teamwork>Trust>Innovation>Creativity>Communication>Synergy.....
Using harnesses, helmets, cables, ropes and wooden beams strung 8 to 12 meters high.
PURE-HEIGHTS offers opportunities for your team to step out of their comfort zones, explore risk-taking, trust (in themselves, teammates, equipment and our facilitators) and coaching. Each moment is rich with discoveries, whether climbing, simply encouraging others or on "belay".
Participants appreciate the opportunity to interact with their teammates in a very different and powerful way. Our facilitators establish the context for each activity, monitor participants' safety and help the team recognise valuable insights throughout the day.
Options:
CHALLENGE COURSE CHALLENGE: Teams compete over a range of challenges at height to score points and conquer in the PURE- HEIGHTS 'Fear Factor' arena. Various strategies can score them MORE points, but, other strategies may LOSE them points - how much fear can you handle...
MISSION POSSIBLE: Teams may choose to accept their Mission to collect clues from various secret "Air" and "Land" locations. If they are successful in this Mission they attempt to crack the message which will save their team from imminent self destruction... Of course it is not as simple as that! Teams may also choose to operate collaboratively or in opposition, AND, any Mission costs money, spend it wisely...

Pure-Team Cuisine, Your recipe to success

This unique and inspiring Kiwiana event is sure to ignite all creative taste buds. The group is divided into teams. All team members are then briefed on the objectives for The Great BBQ-off by "The Chef" and outfitted with all the gear they'll need to ensure their culinary success.
Teams will receive a magic box of interesting and inspiring ingredients from which they are to create classic kiwi BBQ treats. Whole snapper, fresh mussels, kumara, an array of fresh herbs are on offer, and then comes the twist as teams must negotiate for staples to finish their creations.
Teams will encounter several challenges that will provide them with the opportunity to communicate with one another to make creative dishes, learn to work as a team rather than individuals, and compete head-to-head with other teams.

The teams will be judged according to taste, presentation, and originality. All points will be tallied to find out who rules the BBQ as the reigning Kiwi BBQ Chef.

Creativity>Innovation>Energise>Brainstorming> Passion> Hilarity
Ignite your team's creative energy as they brainstorm and build a creation of your choice while the clock ticks. Moving through the stages of "product development", in a fun, lively setting teams of 6-10 receive instructions, design clues and building supplies, then develop a design concept and construction plan. Once built, they are shared with the team.

GEO-TEAMING
Technology>Navigation>Adventure>Strategy>Team Work and a mission
Pureoutdoors Geo-Teaming is a unique team adventure based on the sport of geo-caching that blends the latest technology and map reading with a race against the clock. This ultimate scavenger hunt can be in a rural or urban setting and secret caches are hidden in parks or peculiar city spots.
Test your team's ability to think on-the-fly, act strategically and problem solve, all while navigating unfamiliar territory. Teams of 4-5 are given maps and taught to use GPS units to determine the approximate location of a secret cache. Then the search begins. It takes deductive reasoning to determine exactly where the cache may be. Once found, the team must crack the code to unlock the cache and receive the next mission. The adventure concludes with our Geo-Teaming Prize giving where teams will receive trophies.
