Team Taste Experiences
Our experience’s are a chance for your team to pick up some insider tips and tricks of the trade from NZ's best known chefs and food writers, and our own knowledgeable staff. Classes typically last for one hour, although sometimes they can run for one and a half hours.
Enjoy hors d'oeurves and a glass of wine or two as you walk in the door, and then take your seat for the demonstration. Our Sabato Basics classes focus on one or two dishes in depth. Enjoy tasting plates of the dishes prepared, and feel free to ask the presenters questions as they occur to you. Recipes will be provided on the night, and we are open late for shopping after the class.

Sabato, a specialist gourmet business founded by Jacqui and Philip Dixon, has been sourcing and introducing superb ingredients to New Zealand since 1993. Initially based in their home garage, 18 years later Sabato is now a showroom, commercial kitchen and trade premises in Mount Eden, Auckland. Their focus is mainly on artisan quality food from Europe alongside a selection of superior New Zealand products. Many of Sabato’s European suppliers are family-owned operations who add generations of knowledge and tradition to their products. Fine Italian, Spanish and French products feature strongly within a stellar line up at their showroom and have grown an appreciative and loyal following. Their vast selection is a treasure trove of inspiration for foodies and is extremely comprehensive.
